Geraldo is a revenue recognition and deal strategy professional with over 20 years of broad experience working with software, hardware, and SAAS business models for large, multinational corporations. He has experience with contract and deal negotiations for both public and private sectors businesses.
During his career, Geraldo has provided technical revenue accounting research, co-authored a software revenue accounting policy for a Fortune 500 company, provided technical revenue recognition and best practice guidance for complex customer arrangements, and successfully completed multiple ASC 606 accounting transitions.
Geraldo has an accounting degree from Grand Valley State University and studied international business at the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico. Prior to his current role with Maple Tree Consultants, Geraldo has led high performing teams at BlackBerry, McAfee, and Splunk.
